Rendering Revealed for Hyde Park Affordable Housing
A project website offers up a first look at the Depot at Hyde Park, a proposed mixed-use affordable housing complex by GTM Holdings and WORKS.
The project, located at 6527-6531 S. Crenshaw Boulevard, would consist of 43 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments seated atop 1,500 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Plans also call for 22 parking spaces in a partially below-grade garage.
Opening is anticipated for Fall 2022.
Affordable Housing and Community Rising at 88th & Vermont
Completed in 2019, 88th & Vermont provides housing for transitional-aged youth, veterans and low income families; and home for a 9000 square foot Youth and Community Service Center. The project was recognized as the Transformational Project of the Year by the Southern California Association of Non Profit Housing. Mr. Weissman served as the Construction Manager for joint venture partnership of Community Build and Women Organizing Resources Knowledge and Services (WORKS). 88th & Vermont was the first project in Los Angeles completed using Measure HHH funds and the first affordable housing project in Los Angeles to use incentives provided through the Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) ordinance.
WORKS Named 2016 Affordable Housing Developer of the Year
